Karak Tea in Dubai — Brewed by FiLLi Since 1991

Karak is a Dubai daily ritual. Strong, spiced, milky tea poured into a small cup, drunk hot, ordered quickly. The recipe came up through the Indian community in the UAE and became something the whole country drinks — at petrol stations, in offices, on the way home.

FiLLi has been pouring it since 1991. Our Karak is the same blend it was three decades ago: black tea, evaporated milk, cardamom, sugar, simmered until the colour and weight are right. The variation Dubai best knows us for is Zafran Karak — the same Karak base, infused with Iranian saffron, finished with a saffron strand on top.
